Community

Community Links

At Feversham College, Governors, Staff and students encourage and welcome links with the community.

Throughout the year we invite many outside speakers from all walks of life who act as role models for the students.

We have built up strong links in the community through student work experience placements, careers conventions, enterprise/entrepreneur events and extensive fund-raising/charity work.

We work closely with partner primary and secondary schools and with North East Bradford Networked Learning Communities.

Since January 2003 Feversham College has been part of North Bradford Networked Learning Community. It is linked to the National College for School Leadership. This involves working with other schools and the aim is:

  • Learning from each other
  • Learning with each other
  • Learning on behalf of each other

This group was set up after the Bradford riots through Citizenship to improve Social Cohesion.

The schools that are in the group and Feversham College work with at the moment are:

Hanson, Immanuel, Wellington, Grove House, Swain House, Cavendish, Westminster and Fagley

With the School Science Status we also work with:

St.Joseph's College, Belle Vue, Newby, Green Lane, Peel Park and Westminster C of E Primary
