Feversham College came about due to the extensive
efforts of the governing body at Feversham College
a large percentage of which are from the Muslim
Association of Bradford (MAB). This organisation
was inaugurated in the year 1959 to support a small
number of migrant Muslims who had arrived to
Bradford from different parts of the world.
Bradford Muslim Girls Community School was
established in September 1984 at Ryan Street,
Bradford, as an independent school with 26 girls on
original roll. The passion to develop an Islamic
school which delivered high quality education has
culminated with the birth and development of
Feversham College in 1994.
The College acquired
Voluntary Aided Status (VAS) in 2001. This was a
landmark in the College’s journey.
