Students have good ideas for raising funds!!
Car washing, sale of delicious food, lucky dip and a meal prepared for staff using food from around the world were just some of the ideas thought of by students to raise funds to purchase items to sell on their stall at the Summer Fayre which was held on Wednesday, 22 July 2009, from 10am to 3pm at Feversham College.
The team who made the recipes - from Morocco, Italy; England; Asia; Greece; France; America, Algeria and Russia - have supplied the recipes which are being produced in a Recipe booklet which was sold for t£3 at the Fayre. The proceeds from the day went to the British Heart Foundation, a local charity for deaf children.
The students submitted a proposal for their stalls and organised themselves to raise money for any resources they need. There was a wide variety of attractions including a Bouncy Castle, Candy Floss; Face Painting; Games; Toys; Books; Jewellery, Clothes materials; Bric'n'Brac (new unwanted gifts); Plants; Reflexology, delcious foods and lots lots more!
Thank you for come along and help make this a success!!!
We raised £2,800 for the British Heart Foundation!
Well done to all the staff and students participating, expecially Mrs Kennedy, Mrs Noor, Iqra Batool in 11JV, Isma Hussain Year 10 and Maseerah Khan in 11JC.
